Closed for vacation

  We will be closed from July 11, 2011 until July 17, 2011.  We  will  be open on Monday July 18, 2011 for all you can eat mussels.   We appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving you on the 18th.

corkage fee

Beginning June 1, 2011,  we will charge a $3.00 per TABLE fee for anyone that brings in wine.  It is a flat fee whether you have 2 or 12 bottles to cover stemware.

Tuesday evening French farmhouse

Come  in  on a Tuesday evening for our French farmhouse feature.  Everything is served family style which is perfect for 2 or more people.  Enjoy 2 appetizers, 2 entrees,  3 side dishes, and dessert.  You also get a complimentary glass of wine  for each person!   The farmhouse menu changes weekly so you keep coming back for this palate sensation.

Spanish Dinner- November 3rd

Chef Matthew Black has invited Chef Thomas  Eckert from Mount Hill Tavern to join him in the kitchen to explore the cuisine of Spain. Each course will contain several tapas or small plates, which is the tradition in Spain.

We invite you to join us on November 3rd for this special dinner event!

The  Menu
-First Course-
Fried Sheep’s Cheese with a spicy pimento sauce

Arroz con Almejas….steamer clams with white wine, saffron and rice

Garbanzo and potato soup

-Second Course-
Prunes with Roquefort, raisins and pinenuts

Fried artichokes with Serrano ham and Ramesco

Fried pumpkin with leeks

Cauliflower fritters

-Third Course-
Pimento rellenos…grilled red peppers with stewed beef, chorizo and sofrito

Basque Lamb Stew

Halibut cheeks pil-pil style with potatoes
